Three unreleased Tamil films "Merku Thodarchi Maalai", "Oru Kidayin Karunai Mani" and "Sigai" will be screened at the 17th edition of New York Indian Film Festival.
The fest will take place from April 30 to May 7.
Viewfinder (VFC), an independent film consulting company, will provide services to the three films at the festival.
"I'm happy that our company has helped to fill so much of the South Indian film bracket with such distinct films. They're all uniquely entertaining in very different ways. We are grateful to have worked on them and I am really looking forward to being there in New York to share these quality Tamil movies with New York audiences," VFC Managing Director Dilani Rabindran said in a statement.
While this is the international premiere for "Merku Thodarchi Malai" and "Sigai", both of which have played at festivals in India, this will be the world premiere for "Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu".
The opening film of the fest is Alankrita Shrivasatava-directed "Lipstick Under My Burkha".IANS For Latest Updates Please-
