PICS: Hyundai Xcent compact sedan to boost competition

Hyundai Xcent launched, war in compact sedan segment hots up

Xcent will be positioned in the lower mid-segment which attracts an excise duty of 12 percent only. 81 percent of the lower mid segment sales is contributed by the sub-4m segment, says a release from Hundai Motors.
