The Gran Turismo is a completely new vehicle concept in its class that combines coup elegance with spaciousness, he said. Speaking about its hybrid car i8, he said it will come as a completely built-up (CBU) unit to India by the end of 2014. Besides, BMW M6 Gran Coupe will also be launched as a CBU unit by mid 2014. The new X5 will be locally produced at company's Chennai plant and is expected to hit market by the third quarter of 2014 year.
