Athiya Shetty had hidden this fact from father Suneil Shetty

The 22 year old is about to make her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan's production venture 'Hero', but the actress has revealed that growing up she had to hide her passion for acting from her father, actor and producer Suniel Shetty. During an interview to promote her upcoming film, Athiya said: "I wanted to be an actor since I was little. It has always been my passion and my dream. My father got to know about it much later. I used to do everything hiding in my room, like dancing in front of the mirror and all of that." Athiya revealed that the 54 year-old 'Dhadkan' star didn't find out about her secret dream until she broke down in tears and confessed everything at an airport when they were travelling to look at potential universities for the young star to attend.Athitya continued: "I was going to look at all these colleges in America and we were at Heathrow Airport, London.
