Bollywood gives thumbs up to 'Masaan'

Bollywood celebrities including Rajkummar Rao, Kalki Koechlin, Radhika Apte among others have heaped praise for debut director Neeraj Ghaywan's upcoming film "Masaan". The movie, which won two awards at the Cannes Film Festival FIPRESCI, International Jury of Film Critics prize and Promising Future prize in the Un Certain Regard section, will hit theatres this Friday. The celebrities have called the film "well made", "outstanding" and "brilliant". "First love, innocence, heartbeats, earnestness, give and take, pain, loss, life, death, rebirth and continuous hope #Masaan," Koechlin posted on Twitter. Praising the director's effort, Rao said, "OUTSTANDING! Top notch in every dept. Take a bow @ghaywan U've made a truly special film.@CastingChhabra @avinasharun20 hats off guys.#Masaan."
