Cricketer Sandip Patil's son to debut in Marathi TV serial

Former Indian skipper Sandip Patil's son Chirag will make his small screen debut with Marathi TV show "Yek Number". "Chirag will play the role of a rowdy boy. Chirag, who is a very soft spoken boy by nature, was groomed for the role," said show's director Girish Mohite, who is known for his Marathi movies like "Guru Pournima" and "Bhartiya". The show will be telecast on Star Pravah from June 22 onwards."Chirag was selected over several youngsters, who were tested for the role. He was a perfect fit for the role," said Mohite."Yek Number" is a love-hate story of lead characters Deva and Veda , he said.
