Cocktail (2012): In this urban romantic comedy, Deepika played a bindaas girl in a no-strings-attached relationship with a flirt (Saif Ali Khan). She develops feelings for the guy, but eventually sacrifices her love for her friend. Some believe this is the best role of her career. Performance-wise, it certainly competes with her turn in Chennai Express.
