Dharmendra's unknown facts

Dharmendra was rejected because of his physique, was asked to concentrate on facial expressions. The story goes that S. Mukherji, the founder of Filmistan and Filmalaya, called Dharmendra to his studio for the auditioning that was going on for the lead role of Love in Simla. When the screen test was done, the fastidious producer told the aspiring actor: "You should be representing our country in a sport, preferably football, since you have the physique for it. I am afraid you cannot become an actor till you are groomed for it."
