Dharmendra's unknown facts

Dharmendra took Mukherji's advice seriously and vowed to come back to Filmalaya as fully groomed actor in the future. And he did that in 1977, two decades and several hit films later when S. Mukherji's son Shubir, who began producing films under the legendary Filmalaya banner, approached Dharmendra to play the lead in Filmalaya's Teesri Ankh. Dharmendra happily accepted the role and told Shubir that it was Mukherji's advice that had opened his eyes and made him realize that good looks and masculinity were fine but they wouldn't compensate lack of acting prowess.
