Top Ten all time popular Bollywood franchises

Golmaal All the films in this series, be it Golmaal Returns or Golmaal 3, have a common characteristic. The comedy is pure slapstick, what we usually call over-the-top stuff which has been mastered by director Rohit Shetty who can do no wrong at the box-office. Ajay Devgn who is a Shetty favourite and vice-versa, Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor (whose turn as the deaf and dumb chap is particularly noticeable if not noteworthy) team up to give the audiences their money’s worth if they leave their brains outside the theatre. As long as the films work – and this is a successful franchise – who cares?
