Favourite Bollywood women directors, why we love them

Kalpana Lajmi Here is a director who deserved so much more. After all, her last film Chingaari in which Sushmita Sen played a sex worker was released way back in 2006. Lajmi delivered two more classics, one of them Rudaali for which Dimple Kapadia won the National Award and Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence for which Raveena picked up the same award. Lajmi has picked up women-centric issues, but her output of films came to a halt a long time back. It is sad.
