Favourite Bollywood women directors, why we love them

Why women directors have done well in Bollywood.Hindi films have been dominated by men. One of the worst outcomes of this phenomenon is the small percentage of women directors who have nonetheless made an impact in the film industry. In fact, the industry has had so few female directors that some analysts seeking to make a list of them often include Deepa Mehta and Mira Nair in their writings. That is not correct although Mehta and Nair have made films like Fire and Salaam Bombay respectively. In fact, some women directors have been known to complain that the industry doesn’t give them a fair deal.
