Anushka Sharma as 'Rosie' in 'Bombay Velvet'

The first look of Anushka Sharma as 'Rosie Noronha' in Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet' has been unveiled. The picture was posted by Anushka Sharma on her Twitter handle with a caption, "Guys introducing Rosie Noronha of #BombayVelvet @foxstarhindi @FuhSePhantom." The film is based on historian Gyan Prakash's book 'Mumbai Fables'. Set in Bombay of the 1960s, the movie tells the story of a street fighter, Johnny Balraj, and an aspiring jazz singer, Rosie, played by Anushka Sharma, who is a prized singer in the 'Bombay Velvet Club' and is the love interest of Johnny Balraj.
