'Piku' crosses 50 crore mark!

Wow! What a miracle Piku. So good films also earn big time in Bollywood! If Piku can do so wonderfully well, then one must say that there is a ray of hope left in Bollywood. Shoojit Sircar's critically acclaimed directorial film has now crossed the 50 crore mark at the worldwide box office. This beautiful tale, which features Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, not only compelled audience but also garnered positive response from the critics. "Piku" is one the most successful films of Bollywood in 2015. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh had tweeted not too long ago, “#Piku is EXTRAORDINARY in international markets too. Opening weekend total: $ 2.273 million [14.52 cr]. BIGGEST OPENER 2015 Overseas.” And now it has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark worldwide.
