High-profile break-ups that made news

One of the most high-profile affairs in Bollywood was of Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan. They met on the sets of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and fell in love. They later broke up when Aishwarya issued a statement in which she claimed Salman had affairs and even assaulted. Things turned ugly when Aishwarya started dating Vivek and Salman allegedly threatened him. Vivek called for a press meet created much of a scene. Since then he has been apologizing to Salman who turns a deaf ear to Vivek.
