Kirti Sanon beats Alia for 'Half Girlfriend'

So Kirthi Sanon has bagged a prestigious role, which may be her big ticket to Bollywood. The movie 'Half Girlfriend, based' on Chetan Bhagat's just launched book by the same name will have Kirthi in the main lead. The film is about a girl studying in Delhi and her relationship with a boy from Bihar Madhav. It was being said that Alia Bhatt will be the chosen one. But now it is certain that Kirthi will be doing the role. She was also seen at the book launch function of Chetan Bhagat. Now it is being speculated that either Ranbir or Ranveer will be the male lead. But this is a big catch for Kirthi. the film will be produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Mohit Suri.
