Million Dollar Arm is about rural Indian boys making it big in US

The Hollywood movie Million Dollar arm is based on the true story of Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel, two rural young Indian cricket players who were signed to the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2008. The heart-stirring underdog tale is about agent JB Bernstein who goes scouting for talent in India. He is looking for a Major League Baseball pitcher in cricket's bastion given the similarities between both the games. He zeroes in on two lads Rinku and Dinesh who know nothing about baseball. The movie stars Jon Hamm who plays the broke sports agent Bernstein, Suraj Sharma plays Rinku, Madhur Mittal plays Dinesh, Aasif Mandvi plays Bernstein's assistant, Pitobash plays the translator and the baseball scout Ray is portrayed by Alan Arkin.
