Madhuri to play mother in 'Ram Lakhan'!

Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has joined hands with Rohit Shetty to remake the famous yesteryear's hit 'Ram Lakhan' and according to the reports, KJo has Madhuri Dixit's name in mind for the mother's role. According to the reports, Karan Johar is in talks with Madhuri, Amrita Singh and Kirron Kher to play the part of Rakhee in the remake of the 1989 blockbuster. Tabu was also approached for the role but she rejected the part saying that she didn't like the idea of playing a mother to varun or Sidharth. Though none of the actor has been finalised to play the lead in the film earlier played by Anil Kapoor and Jackir Shroff, there are reports that Karan might cast his favourite Varun Dhawan and sidharth malhotra for the role. Some time back there were reports that Ranbir has been finalised for the role but those were all rumours. Now, the makers are deciding to cast an actress for the role of mother first and the nme which is on top is of Madhuri Dixit. But, will Madhuri say a yes to the role of the mother in the remix as she was the lead heroine in the original.
