It was a special day for Mumbai girls when their role model Deepika Padukone joined them for a catwalk in Mumbai. The occasion was the launch of limited edition clothline of Van Huesen. The actress has herself designed the beautiful clothline and launched it with the young girls. I thought it would be interesting to pick girls who identify with the way I dress. We haven’t selected them on the basis of their looks, height or whether they are experienced models. It was a random pick from the entries we had. I will try to make it as memorable and special for them. I will spend time with them, chat and groom them so that they go back with great memories."
