'Ek Villain' review in PICS

Review in pics of

If you loved Shraddha Kapoor in 'Aashiqui2' then go and see her 'Ek Villain' also as she won't disappoint you. The dumure damsel turns into a chirpy, cheerful girl who comes like a breeze of fresh air. But more of Shradhha afterwards, first about the movie. The movie is a suspense thriller and Mohit Suri has done a decent job. The real problem is with the plot which quivers and this irritates. It is good to see Sidhharth in a totally new avatar. Good to see that he can do tough roles besides playing the chocolate-boy types. He has matured as an actor and astonishes us only in his second movie. He is the villain, the cruel and deadly types who undergoes a change of heart because he falls in love. He bounces back to his villainy once his lady-love played by Shraddha Kapoor is harmed. The switch is dramatic. Shraddha plays an innocent girl who likes birds, trees, flowers and fishes. It is a relief to see Ritesh Deshmukh doing something other than comedy. And boy, he is good at that. He is the other villain and you will like the tough part of his personality, especially after seeing his senseless comedy in 'Humshakals'. The movie is worth a watch, at least once.
