Rocking villains in Bollywood

Shakaal (Shaan) : Modelled after Blofield, the bald villain in as many as six James Bond films, Shakaal was the negative character in Shaan, a multi-starrer which didn’t do well during its first release but bounced back during reruns. Kulbhushan Kharbanda as this international crime boss without a heart made a seriously big impression even though he didn’t outshine Amitabh Bachchan, who rocked the industry at that time. However, the only character’s name from Shaan whom people remember even today is Shakaal’s. It has a lot to do with how charismatic the villain was.
