Sanjeev Kumar's failed romance with Hema Malini

Bollywood actor Sanjeev Kumar is probably the best mainstream actor Hindi Cinema industry has seen so far.He played romantic as well as intense roles with an ease.Sanjeev Kumar was said to be in love with Bollywood actress Hema Malini, who turned down his proposal and got married to Dharmendra. As various reports claim, he was also in a relationship with actress Sulakshana Pandit. Sanjeev’s trademark attire was a white kurta-pyjama and white chappals. Despite being a Gujarati Brahmin, he loved non-vegetarian food. So he’d come home and we’d have dishes made for him. Though he gave several award-winning performances as an elder on reel, Sanjeev in real life never turned old. He died of cardiac arrest at 47.
