Tragedy Queen Meera Kumari

Her first role was in the 1939 film Farzand-e-Watan or Leatherfac.Meena Kumari's best role was in Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam (1962), produced by Guru Dutt. The conflict of a wife trapped in a loveless marriage was captured beautifully in the film Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam .Meena Kumari played Chhoti Bahu, an alcoholic wife.
