Lead in Brazilian chocolates not good for kids

Lead and cadmium in Brazilian chocolate not good for health

Scientists have discovered that commercial samples of chocolate purchased in Brazil contain varying levels of lead and cadmium, a finding which could have health implications- particularly for children. However, only two samples out of 30 exceeded US Food and Drug Administration recommendations for lead, scientists said.
