High voter turnout in Assam, Tripura

84 pc voter turnout in Tripura, 72 pc in Assam in first phase of Lok Sabha polls 2014

Elderly women showing their mark after casting votes at a polling station during the first phase of Lok Sabha election 2014, in Jorhat district of Assam on Monday. In Assam's five constituencies with nearly 64.50 lakh electors, 51 candidates are in the fray. Tripura (West) has 13 candidates.
