Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday condemned the alleged lynching of a man by cow vigilantes in Alwar, saying "when government abdicates responsibility and allows lynch mobs to rule, tragedies of immense proportion follow". He also termed it a "shocking breakdown of law and order" in Alwar, and said the government needed to take strict action against those responsible. _SHOW_MID_AD_ "All right thinking Indians must condemn this blind brutality. We expect government to take strict action against those responsible for this brutal and senseless attack," he said. | ||||||||
