Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held a meeting with senior ministers, hours after Supreme Court ordered restoring of criminal conspiracy charge against BJP leaders L. K. Advani, M M Joshi and Uma Bharti in the Babri Masjid demolition case. Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu were among those who attended the meeting at Lok Kalyan Marg. "The issue of Ram temple at Ayodhya is not political but a matter of conviction for me. If I would have gone there, this would have turned into a political affair. So I am cancelling my visit," Uma Bharti said in a statement on Wednesday. | ||||||||
