The annual Amarnath Yatra began on Thursday morning and the first batch of yatris were flagged off from Pahalgam in Jammu.
Around 4,000 pilgrims on Thursday left the Jammu base camp for their onward journey to the holy cave shrine of Amarnath in South Kashmir.
