Minutes after Nitish Kumar stepped down as Bihar Chief Minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the JDU supremo for taking a stand against corruption. "Congratulate Nitish Kumar Ji on joining fight against corruption. 125 crore people welcome and support this honesty," tweets Modi. Kumar, who met Bihar Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi late on Wednesday with NDA leaders to summit his resignation, staked claim to form a new government with support of 132 MLAs.
