Now you must be wondering how such a miracle can happen, then let me tell you that it is not a miracle but due to the thinking and hard work of the doctors of India, now such suffering people are completely healthy and enjoying life..Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the organization of dental surgeons of India, is doing such unique work which is acknowledged by doctors all over the world. Delhi NCR and Haryana Chapter of this organization held its 47th annual convention in Delhi. Various types of stalls were set up in this convention.
Surgery related equipment was kept on these stalls. Along with this, models related to mouth, throat, jaw and neck were kept through which broken bones are repaired or the process of healing is shown.The 47th Annual Conference of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) was conducted from 23nd to 25th November, 2023, at the Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, New Delhi. The event, hosted by AOMSI, Delhi NCR and Haryana state chapters brought together over 1800 delegates, comprising esteemed national and international professionals, for a dynamic exchange of insights and expertise.
Themed "Teaming Experience with Evidence," the conference featured engaging discussions led by 200 prominent speakers with 18 international speakers. Delegates explored current and innovative solutions in oral and maxillofacial surgery, delving into critical topics such as jaw surgery, oral cancer, fractures, craniofacial anomalies, orofacial pathologies, and more.
Under the distinguished leadership of Conference Secretary Dr. Manjunath Rai, Organizing Chairman Dr. Ashish Gupta, Organizing Secretary Dr. Atul Sharma, Joint Organizing Secretary Dr. Imran Khan, and Scientific Chairman Dr. Rohit Chandra, the conference provided a platform for the exchange of groundbreaking ideas and advancements in the field. Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Director General, Indian Council of Medical Research, blessed the event as chief-Guest of the inaugural ceremony.
The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi, served as an ideal backdrop for the event, fostering an atmosphere conducive to collaboration and learning. The conference also featured numerous pre-conference courses designed to equip participants with the latest developments in oral and maxillofacial surgery. The event attracted over 55 national and international trade organizations exhibiting the latest technology in the field. An entire day was dedicated to sports events featuring cricket, badminton, chess and carom at Raj Nagar extn. and Yamuna Sports complex respectively. The 47th Annual Conference of AOMSI 2023 was a resounding success, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among professionals dedicated to advancing the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
