Delhi crime sees four-fold rise in six years | ||||||||

Crime in the national capital has seen a four-fold rise between 2010 and 2016, data furnished by Delhi Police shows. As per the FIRs registered by Delhi Police, in 2010, a total of 51,292 cases were registered, while in 2016, the figure went up to 2,09,519. In 2015, a total of 1,91,377 FIRs under the Indian Penal Code were registered.
