Mercury dropped perceptibly in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) after heavy rainfall on Thursday.
The minimum temperature was recorded 25.2 degrees celsius, two notches below the season's average. Humidity at 8.30 am was 98 per cent.
It started raining at 3am on Thursday and according to the Met department, there will be light rains through out the day.
There was water-logging on streets causing much discomfort to commuters heading to work.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees celsius.
"It was drizzling here since early Thursday morning. City witnessed 25.8 mm rainfall till Thursday 8.30 a.m.," India Meteorological Department said.Saharasamay desk For Latest Updates Please-
