Four children were among the six people killed when a a rashly driven Balero SUV smashed into group of children standing near roadside vendor. speeding Blero rammed into a house in a village near Punjab's Jandiala town on Wednesday, police said.
Police officials, quoting eyewitnsses, said that the Balero driver lost control while moving at high speed.The police reached on the spot and rushed the injured to hospital. Four children were declared brought dead. Some others are injured.
The incident took place in Dashmesh Nagar village on the Jandiala-Mehta road, 225 km from here.
It is recalled that three chldren had died a few days back in another road accident. The police failed to check over speeding and drunk driving despite Supreme Court orders.
