Prime Minister Narendra Modi's wife Jashodaben made a brief stopover at Mathura on Wednesday and offered prayers at a local temple, district officials said.
She prayed at the Rangeshwar Mahadev temple in Mathura soon after her arrival by the Mewar Express, and later left by Shatabdi Express for Jhansi, where she is slated to join in a religious congregation.
Accompanied by some family members and some security personnel, she refused to respond to posers by media persons and instead wished them with folded hands.
On April 14, Jashodaben worshipped at two temples in Vikarabad town of Telangana, where she was seen distributing food among devotees and also offering fodder to a cow.IANS For Latest Updates Please-
